# Retrieve Issue Attachments

This tutorial demonstrates how to retrieve information about attachments associated with issues in a Forma project. The steps include finding issues in a project and retrieving attachment information for a specific issue.

## Before You Begin

* [Register an app](https://aps.autodesk.com/myapps)
* Acquire a [3-legged OAuth token](https://aps.autodesk.com/en/docs/oauth/v2/tutorials/get-3-legged-token/) with the `data:read` scope.
* Verify that you have access to the relevant hub and Forma project.
* Find the relevant project ID for the project containing issues with attachments by following the [Retrieve a Forma Hub and Project ID](https://aps.autodesk.com/en/docs/acc/v1/tutorials/getting-started/retrieve-account-and-project-id/) tutorial. In this example, assume the project ID is `b8c45fe1-2ab3-4b71-8563-d9f9c5c2a7e5`.

## Step 1: Find Issues in Project

Find issues in your project by calling [GET issues](https://aps.autodesk.com/en/docs/acc/v1/reference/http/issues-issues-GET/) using the project ID (`b8c45fe1-2ab3-4b71-8563-d9f9c5c2a7e5`).

Note the ID of the issue for which you want to retrieve attachments. In this example, we’ll use the first issue (`d4f9c2e1-3b8a-4c7d-9e2f-1a5b8c9d0e3f`) which has 3 attachments (`attachmentCount: 3`).

## Step 2: Retrieve Attachments for a Specific Issue

Retrieve information about all attachments associated with a specific issue by calling [GET attachments](https://aps.autodesk.com/en/docs/acc/v1/reference/http/issues-attachments-issueId-items-GET/) using the project ID (`b8c45fe1-2ab3-4b71-8563-d9f9c5c2a7e5`) and the issue ID (`d4f9c2e1-3b8a-4c7d-9e2f-1a5b8c9d0e3f`).
